About Marissa
As a proven leader in contemporary footwear design, Marissa has spent over fifteen years cultivating some of the industry’s top brands. Driving results in both design and product development, she has been at the helm of numerous powerful styles at retail.
With experience across multiple categories- women’s, men’s, kid’s and active- Marissa has partnered with sales, marketing and production teams throughout her career to deliver trend right designs that blend seamlessly with customer demands.
Passionate about the creative as well as functional, she has expertise in trend and color forecasting, line-building, sketching and product development, as well as brand-building.
Having worked in both the branded and private label sectors, Marissa has led design and development for the launch and relaunch of some of the industry’s most iconic contemporary brands, including Circus NY (2011), Sam & Libby (2013), Open Edit (2021) and Nordstrom women’s collection (2023).
